Relax and Revitalize with Mom’s Morning Out

Event Date:
May 4, 2013 - 8:00am

Moms of all ages are invited to enjoy a free morning of education, inspiration and relaxation on Saturday, May 4 from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the “Commons Area” at Lake Tahoe Community College (1 College Drive, South Lake Tahoe).

“This is the third annual “Mom’s Morning Out” and its growing in size each-year,” Leanne Wagoner, Barton Health, Community Outreach Coordinator said. “Together, with the Tahoe Daily Tribune and Lake Tahoe Community College, Barton has created a day celebrating all moms in our community.”

Moms of all ages are invited and Wagoner explained that is means all future, pregnant, new, “soccer” and “empty nesters.”

“Our ultimate goal, while not just providing a place where moms can go to relax, but also provide opportunities to learn about the importance of taking care of themselves at all stages of their lives. That’s why we have invited local businesses to join with us in offering resources, dialogue and activities for overall wellness,” Wagoner said.
