Performances of Godspell at Lake Tahoe Community College

Hear the hit songs "Day by Day," "Learn Your Lessons Well,"
and "All for the Best" as the Theatre Arts Department at Lake Tahoe Community College (LTCC) presents the iconic musical Godspell June 16-25.

The Duke Theatre at the South Lake Tahoe campus will be transformed as the rock musical based on the Gospel according to St. Matthew comes to the stage. Godspell follows a group of people as they help Jesus Christ tell different parables by using a wide variety of games, storytelling techniques, and perfect comic timing. The show offers an eclectic blend of songs ranging in style from pop to vaudeville, bringing the parables of the New Testament to life on stage. Godspell is a groundbreaking and unique reflection on the life of Jesus, with a message of kindness, tolerance, community, and love.

With music and lyrics by three-time Grammy and Academy Award winner Stephen Schwartz (Wicked, Pippin) and conceived and originally directed by John Michael Tebelak, Godspell is one of the biggest off-Broadway successes of all time.

Godspell first took the world by storm in 1972, then went on to enjoy successful productions around the world, including a recent Broadway revival in 2012.

LTCC’s production of Godspell includes cast members Molly DeLallo, John Friedrich, Sharon Kerrigan, Thomas Lopez, Ellen Martin, Amanda Sanderson, Richard Sargent, Chris Taylor, Pam Taylor, Ashley Wallick, Saundra Whitt, and Jeff Whitt.
