SLTPD seeks public's help in finding murder suspect's vehicle

The South Lake Tahoe Police Department (SLTPD) continues to investigate the homicide of a South Lake Tahoe man that occurred on June 11 on the 3600 block of Spruce Avenue.

62-year-old Gregory Mitchoff of South Lake Tahoe was found in the 3600 block of Spruce Avenue in South Lake Tahoe by police responding to a report of gunshots heard at 9:30 p.m. that evening. He later died at the hospital.

There is a $2,500 reward being offered by South Lake Tahoe Secret Witness for anyone who provides information leading to the conviction of the perpetrators of this crime. Secret Witness can be reached at 530-541-6800.

SLTPD is seeking the public’s help in identifying a light colored Pontiac Aztec that was seen leaving the scene of the crime. The vehicle pictured in this story is similar to the vehicle observed. They are asking for the public's continued help in this investigation.
