Once a year, local artists open their studios for the Tahoe Art League Studio Tour. This free event gives the public the opportunity to view and purchase art as well as visits with the talented participants.
For two weekends the tour is open to the public from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday through Sunday.
Here is an easy to use map or they can be picked up at the Art League's gallery located at 3062 Lake Tahoe Blvd adjacent to the Lake Tahoe Historical Museum, Senior Center and Visitor's Center.
Not all studios are open both weekends so look at the map for details of each artist, the addresses and days open.
Some of the home studios will feature more than one artist. The tour will feature oil paintings, hand created books, wearable art, silk paintings, wood, pottery, watercolors and more. There are 18 different studios to visit from Zephyr Cove to Meyers.
