Event Date:
August 24, 2016 - 10:00am

The Food Bank of El Dorado County will be stopping by South Lake Tahoe on August 24 with their truck full of fresh fruit and vegetables and other emergency food supplies for those in need.

There is one allocation of supplies available for each qualifying household at the pantry distribution which will take place at the American Legion Hall at 2748 Lake Tahoe Blvd. from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

If you are struggling to make ends meet, live in El Dorado County and meet the State of California Health and Social Services Agency Emergency Food Assistance Program income guidelines, stop by for your food distribution. Income guidelines can be found online at www.dss.cahwnet.gov/efap/.

A partnership between the Food Bank and California Emergency Food Link enables the non-profit to distribute lots of fresh produce, something the community has said they wanted more of.

The food distribution will take place rain or shine.
