Spots still available for 24th annual Boys and Girls Club Golf Classic

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - The 24th annual Boys and Girls Club of Lake Tahoe Golf Classic will be held Monday, October 16 at Edgewood Tahoe.

The Golf Classic is the premier fundraiser for the Club and this year their Board of Directors has a goal of raising over $60,000 for the children of the community.

Locals and visitors alike are welcome to play in the tournament and if luck is on your side, you could win $10,000 or a Jaguar car in the hole-in-one competitions. Visitors can also enjoy a discount at the brand new and exclusive Edgewood Lodge and everyone gets private use of the course that day.

Many local businesses provide sponsorship and prizes for the raffle and silent auction. Major supporters this year are Jaguar Reno, Tahoe Production House, Tahoe Center for Orthopedics, MacDuff's Pub, Fromarc Insurance, US Bank, LP Insurance, Allrise Financial Group, and BELFOR Restorations. There are still sponsorship opportunities available.

“We are so grateful to Edgewood Tahoe for supporting this event each year," said Executive Director Jude Wood. 100 percent of the proceeds go directly to providing programs for our members. The Club is currently serving over 300 children a day in the after-school program and therefore we need every penny we can get.” s

Sponsorship opportunities range from $100-$1,800. Foursome opportunities begin at $800 and an individual playing spot is available for $225.
