SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - The City of South Lake Tahoe is celebrating Parks Make Life Better Month with several activities, including Free Friday Night Movies in The Park. Each Friday in July at Bijou Community Park, a series of free movies under the stars will be presented, starting at sundown.

Gather your family, friends, and neighbors, and don't forget to bring your blankets, chairs, and favorite snacks for a cozy, fun-filled evening.

EB40 heads lineup at Lake Tahoe Summer Jam 2024

Late-Nite Productions & One Vision Entertainment are proud to present "Lake Tahoe Summer Jam 2024" featuring one of the biggest and most influential names in Bay Area Hip-Hop, E-40 live in concert! LaRussell will also be performing to warm up the show.

Sunday FUNDay at Tipsy Putt to raise funds for El Dorado County Search and Rescue

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - Drink and Putt for a Cause in July! Tipsy Putt - South Lake Tahoe is partnering with El Dorado County Tahoe Search and Rescue to donate money from every beer and every golf game sold each Sunday in July in their monthly event called Sunday FUNDday.

Play and Learn Group for ages 2-5 years with a caregiver (free)

Tahoe History Talks on the Beach return with Lucky and Anita Baldwin Chautauqua

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - The Lake Tahoe Historical Society is bringing back its popular summer speaker series, Tahoe History Talks on the Beach, on Tuesdays from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. starting June 25.

The free talks are held at Lakeview Commons on the west side steps. Lakeview Commons is located at the corner of US50 and Lakeview Ave. There is plenty of free parking.

Meyers Mountain Markets every Wednesday all summer

Meyers Mountain Market is held every Wednesday at Tahoe Paradise Park from 3 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. through September 11, 2024.

The primary goal of our market is to promote a sense of community and a healthy way of life for Meyers residents and South Lake Tahoe locals alike. Of course, Tahoe visitors are welcome to join in on the fun! We are dedicated to bringing farmers right to your table, so we stay open rain or shine. We encourage our market patrons to bike, walk, or caravan to keep that Tahoe air feeling fresh!

Unity at the Lake welcomes Donna Apidone as speaker

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - Unity at the Lake is welcoming Donna Apidone as their guest presenter on Sunday, August 4 at 10 a.m. Donna is a former "Morning Edition" and “CapRadio Reads” host on NPR, and since leaving the radio network, she has been teaching and writing.

Donna teaches TransForMission, a course all about finding Purpose in life, at Sacramento State University and congregations throughout the region. The course is based on her book, also titled TransForMission.
