To launch the ski season and “The Sound of Winter” in South Lake Tahoe, MontBleu Resort Casino & Spa and Heavenly Mountain Resort presents multi-platinum rock band BUSH on Saturday, Nov. 26. The band is celebrating the release of "The Sea of Memories," their first new album in 10 years, and their chart-topping lead single, “The Sound of Winter.”
Over the course of their remarkable career, Bush has sold more than 16 million albums in the U.S. and Canada alone. They’ve also compiled an amazing string of 14 consecutive Top 40 hit singles on the Billboard Modern Rock and Mainstream Rock charts, including 10 that hit the Top 5. Four of these became No. 1 hits: “Comedown,” “Glycerine,” “Swallowed” and “The Chemicals Between Us.”
Tickets are $55 and go on sale, Friday, Sept. 30, at the MontBleu Box Office or via TicketMaster. The showroom entertainment line-up in December at MontBleu includes comedic superstar Daniel Tosh, Dec. 16-17. www.montbleuresort.com.
Heavenly anticipates opening, Nov. 18, weather and conditions permitting, with several new mountain enhancements, including new and wider runs, new grooming machines, ground-breaking EpicMix technology and state-of-the-art learning ski school lodge at the top of the Gondola. www.skiheavenly.com
