Far West Nordic Auction/Raffle Party -

The 26th annual Far West Nordic Auction/Raffle Party will be held on Saturday, November 5 from 6:00pm-10:00pm at the Olympic Village Lodge in Squaw Valley.
This is Far West Nordic Ski Education Association's largest fundraiser for its Junior Nordic Programs. Admission is $25 for 12 and over and $5 for 11 and under. Moving Forward after The IHOP Tragedy

The windows on the front of the Carson City IHOP were broken when a gunman opened fire inside the restaurant last month. Saturday morning, workers could be seen inside and outside of the restaurant on South Carson Street - putting in new windows. An IHOP spokesperson told KOLO 8 News Now that the restaurant is scheduled to reopen before the holidays, however she would not give an exact date.
