The family that built a century-old Lake Tahoe mansion now owned by the state has donated $100,000 for its upkeep. The state Department of Parks and Recreation has accepted the donation from the Hellman family of San Francisco to support restoration efforts at the Hellman-Ehrman estate in Lake Tahoe. The mansion is along the west shores of Lake Tahoe in the Ed Z'berg Sugar Pine Point State Park. Go here to read the Sacramento Bee story.
