'Mark Twain on Architecture' Topic of Presentation at SLT Library

The Friends of the Library are excited to present Dr. Peter Mires will share his program "Mark Twain on Architecture". The presentation consists of what he learned during his research fellowship at the Elmira College Center for Mark Twain Studies. By pairing passages gleaned from Twain’s work with examples of extant buildings, presenter Peter Mires illustrates Mark Twain’s comments, opinions, and tastes—humorous or otherwise—on the subject of American architecture.
