Reminder, you are invited to attend ceremony and ‘social’ honoring Vietnam Veterans Day tomorrow

The Carson City Chapter 388 of the Vietnam Veterans of America are inviting you to mark Vietnam Veterans Day by attending a short ceremony and social gathering on Saturday, March 30, 2013.

The short ceremony will be held at the Vietnam Memorial, located in Mills Park in Carson City, in the southeast corner of the park at 5 PM. (The park may be accessed from either Saliman Road or Seely Loop, across from Carson High School).

After the ceremony, a social and raffle will be held at the High Sierra Brewery Company, located at 302 North Carson Street at 6:30 PM. A $10 charge at the door will include one complimentary drink, free appetizers and live entertainment. There is no charge for Vietnam Veterans. Proceeds will benefit the local Homeless Veterans Project.
