Event Date:
November 20, 2014 - 7:00pm

A South Lake Tahoe doctor's experience as the on-board physician of the National Geographic ship Explorer is the subject of the Tahoe Area Sierra Club's November 20 meeting.

Dr. Brooks Martin and his wife Karen will share their experience on board Explorer during the month of December, 2013. The Explorer departed from Ushuaia, Argentina and crossed the infamous Drake Passage to the Antarctic Peninsula. The couple will show a 30 minute video produced and edited by the onboard videographer and then share their own slides of the trip. The presentation will highlight the wildlife and scenery of one of the most beautiful places on Earth.

The event is at 7pm at Unity at the Lake Center located at 1195 Rufus Allen Blvd in South Lake Tahoe. All are welcome and the event is free.
