Douglas County Sheriff's Office identifies man found under bridge

DOUGLAS COUNTY, Nev. - On Sunday, January 3, 2021, the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office (DCSO) responded to the area north of the Cradlebaugh Bridge on Highway 395 after receiving a report of a dead body.
The responding deputies found a decomposed human body. After a three-week investigation, the body has been determined to be that of Claude Randall Withrow, a 61-year-old male from Carson City. Withrow’s cause of death is still under investigation at this time and no other information is available.
