Mayor starts monthly community outreach "Lets have a conversation"

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, CALIF. - Starting January 24, 2018, South Lake Tahoe Mayor Wendy David will be holding an informal monthly chat with anyone from the community who wants to stop by, say "hi," find out information or discuss whatever City topic they want.
At the December 12, 2017 City Council meeting, Mayor David stated that she wanted to host several community outreach formats on a monthly basis including 'in person' meetings. For 2018, Mayor Wendy David wants to have conversations about the community and invites everyone to join her once a month at various coffee houses in town so that we all can “Have a Conversation.”
Each month, Mayor David will have a variety of special guests including councilmembers and members from various organizations in town.
For the first conversation, Mayor David has invited Mayor Pro Tem Tom Davis to join her on Wednesday, January 24 from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. at Peet’s Coffee located inside Raley's at 1040 Emerald Bay Road, South Lake Tahoe.
“If anyone knows me, I believe in collaboration," said Mayor David. "I am looking forward to working as a strong five member council and it’s a privilege to work with this council and with all City staff."
“Let’s Have a Conversation” on the following dates;
January 24, 2018, with special guest Mayor Pro Tem Tom Davis at Peet’s Coffee at 1040 Emerald Bay Road from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
