Weather - South Lake Tahoe will have a high of 37 and a low tonight of 20. Today: Snow showers, mainly after 5pm. High near 37. Calm wind becoming southwest around 5 mph in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 80%. Total daytime snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible. Tonight: Snow showers, mainly before 11pm. Low around 20. Southwest wind 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.

Heavenly - Packed Powder. No New Snow in last 24 hours. 100% of their terrain planned to be open - 4800 acres, 24 lifts and 97 runs are open. Base depth is 83". Lift status. Scattered snow showers after 11am. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 31. Breezy, with a northwest wind 15 to 25 mph becoming west in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 35 mph. Statement from Heavenly- There is a 30% chance of snow flurries today after 10am, with less than 1/2" inch of accumulation possible. Our 7 day snowfall total is 23" and the snow conditions are still impressive! It will be breezy, with a NW wind 15-25mph, becoming W in the afternoon, and wind could gust as high as 35mph. Temperatures are currently ranging 13-20° around the mountain, and today's high will be near 31°. Weather permitting; All 24 scheduled lifts will spin from 9:00am-4:00pm, providing access to all 97 Heavenly trails, of which over 50% were freshly groomed overnight. Our Groomers trail picks of the day are Ellie's in CA, and Olympic in NV. Please note that Galaxy, North Bowl, Mott, and Groove chairs will not open until 10:00 am.

Sierra-at-Tahoe - Powder/Packed Powder. "Trace" new snow. They plan to have 9 lifts open with groomed conditions on 30 of their open 44 runs. Six snow parks are open. Base depth is 64" to 115". Lift status.Snow likely, mainly after 4pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 34. West wind 3 to 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. Total daytime snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible. Kirkwood - Powder/Packed Powder. No new snow. 100% of the mountain terrain is open with 2300 acres, 14 lifts and 86 runs. 96" base. Lift status. A 30 percent chance of snow after 11am. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 33. West southwest wind 3 to 8 mph. Total daytime snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
