Kudos: Bread & Broth thanks Heavenly's IT team

Thanks to Vail’s EpicPromise grant program, Heavenly Mountain Resort and Kirkwood Mountain Resort alternate months sending Adopt A Day sponsor crew teams to host and volunteer at Bread & Broth Monday Meal dinners. On February 24, it was members from Heavenly’s IT team who donned B&B aprons and graciously served the evening’s dinner guests.

Normally, the Monday Meal dinners are held at St. Theresa’s Grace Hall. However, due to renovation in Grace Hall’s kitchen, the meal was moved to St. Theresa Globin Hall and the evening’s dinner guests were treated to a Kentucky Fried Chicken dinner of chicken, mash potatoes, gravy, coleslaw and biscuits. Helping the B&B volunteers serve the chicken dinner were IT team members Bill Cunningham, Kory Martin and Sakuna Rosas.

“We had a great time serving the community,” wrote the IT Heavenly Team. “Great B&B volunteer team to work with and it was a very rewarding experience! Love to volunteer again and thanks for having us.” B&B really enjoyed having this great crew working along side of them and we’re so happy that they found helping to feed others to be fulfilling experience. Thank you to Vail and their EpicPromise program which supports not only Bread & Broth but many other non-profit organizations in our community.
