Submitted by paula on Tue, 05/07/2019 - 5:00amThe memory of Kelly Arnold will be celebrated at a gathering of his friends at the American Legion Hall in South Lake Tahoe on May 15 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Kelly Jay Arnold, 56, of South Lake Tahoe, California died from a brain abscess on April 1, 2019, in Reno, Nevada.
Kelly was born in Greeley, Colorado on March 24, 1963 to Gerald and Dorothy (Bartlett) Arnold. Growing up he was active in Boy Scouts and attended John Evans and Greeley Central High School.

On February 24, it was members from Heavenly’s IT team who donned B&B aprons and graciously served the evening’s dinner guests.

Currently, Bread & Broth serves a full-course ‘Monday Meal’ at St. Theresa Church Grace Hall and a soup and simple entrée at ‘Second Serving’ at the Lake Tahoe Community Presbyterian Church on Fridays. These two weekly meals and the food ‘give away’ bags distributed at the meals are supported by generous stores, businesses and restaurants who have donated food, beverages and soups to our program throughout the past year.

Armed Robbery at South Lake Tahoe's KFC
Submitted by paula on Tue, 12/23/2014 - 12:14pmSouth Lake Tahoe Police officers responded to a call of an armed robbery at the Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) restaurant on Lake Tahoe Blvd in South Lake Tahoe Monday night.
At about 11:30 p.m., officers arrived in response to the armed robbery which had just occurred. When they arrived the suspect, described as 5'8" and 130 pounds, had already fled.
