Are you a museum nut? A mystery lover? If so, the Lake Tahoe Historical Society is holding something right up your alley!
Archivist Marilyn Long will share how to be a historic sleuth. The museum;s collection has 48 years worth of donations, and in some years there have been over 700 items donated, many without a story. Many times, loved ones are going through a relative's belongings after they pass away, offering donations of photos and other things in their collection that they have no clue of origin, only that it is from Lake Tahoe.
What secrets do they hold? Everyone is invited to join them on Tuesday, March 22 at 2:00 p.m. at the Lake Tahoe History Museum. Marilyn will be on hand to help you with your exploration and share how she processes treasures.
Stop by the museum to pick up your ticket soon....only 30 spots are available! $5 for non-members, $3 for members. Reserve a spot by calling 530.541.5458 by March 19, or stop by the museum on Saturdays between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. and pick one up.
