Parents Asked to Pick Up Their Lake Tahoe Environmental Magnet School Students
Submitted by paula on Thu, 03/20/2014 - 10:20am
At 10:15 a.m. Thursday, Liberty Energy informed the Lake Tahoe Unified School District that the Magnet School was going to have their power shut off for the remainder of the school day to make emergency repairs.
There is enough natural light at the school to give classrooms light to function but they are asking parents to pick up their students as soon as possible.
A cold lunch will be provided for students who can't be picked up and school buses will run on their normal schedule at the end of the day.
Phone service is limited.
According to a press release by the district, school is expected to be in session on Friday.
