Hip Hop Fundamentals, an award-winning team of diverse professional Breakdancers dedicated to Hip Hop Education, are heading to South Lake Tahoe courtesy of the Tahoe Arts Project.
They are the world’s only Breakdance education company combining academic and social content with the world’s most dynamic dance form. They'll be in local schools starting March 25 and ending their stay with a free public performance on Friday, March 29 with a 7:00 p.m. show in the South Tahoe Middle School gym.
As certified teaching artists, seasoned performers, and battle-tested dancers, they are passionately driven to inspire audiences and participants of all ages. They stop at Tahoe Valley on Monday, Zephyr Cove Elementary and the Al Tahoe Learning Center for Sierra House students on Tuesday, the Lake Tahoe Environmental Science Magnet School and South Tahoe High on Wednesday, South Tahoe Middle and Gardnerville Elementary on Thursday and Bijou Elementary on Friday.
For 32 years the Tahoe Arts Project has brought performances to local schools, free of charge.
