Bear trashes vehicle after being locked inside

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - A bear took advantage of an unlocked truck on Washoan Boulevard earlier this week and got inside to search for food. Unfortunately he got locked in side and make quick a mess trying to get out.

The El Dorado County Sheriff's Office responded and were able to unlock the truck door, open it and allow the bear to run away.

This is a reminder to always lock your car doors at night, to keep both petty thieves and bears out.
