$1,000,000 winner at Millionaire Maker Slot Tournament at Harrah's Tahoe

STATELINE, Nev. - They came from around the world for a chance to win $1,000,000 at Harrah's Tahoe Wednesday during the Caesars Entertainment Millionaire Maker Slot Tournament.

For two days the 400 finalists, who came from Caesars properties across the globe, played in three rounds of the slot tournament, dined and enjoyed entertainment.

The winner was "Silvia R." from the Horseshoe Casino in Bossier City, Louisiana.

Brad Belhouse, Caesars Entertainment regional president, presented Silvia with the $1,000,000 check on Wednesday, April 24.

“We were all excited for Silvia,” Belhouse says. “Over the decades, the Millionaire Maker has proven to be the most popular, exciting slot tournament in the casino entertainment industry and we were thrilled to have it at Lake Tahoe this year.”

Silvia plans to enjoy her winnings by returning home and celebrating at her hometown Caesars Entertainment property, Horseshoe Bossier City. When asked what she might do with her life-changing win, all Silvia could say was, “I don’t know, I’m so overwhelmed! I’m going to work on Monday!” Silvia also plans to spoil her husband and family, while planning a future trip back to Lake Tahoe.

Next year the Millionaire Maker tournament moves to Las Vegas.

Another millionaire will be awarded at the 2020 Millionaire Maker Slot Tournament in Las Vegas.
