Volunteers needed for Mobile Food Bank stop in South Lake Tahoe

The Food Bank of El Dorado County is in need of eight to ten volunteers in South Lake Tahoe on Wednesday May 4 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. to help with their mobile food pantry.

Once a month, the food bank stops in South Lake Tahoe to distribute emergency supplemental groceries to those who need it most. Volunteers will be assisting in handing out food and signing people in. The Food Bank of El Dorado County is one of the most efficient and effective charities in El Dorado County. Aside from its ability to provide a six to one return for their donor’s dollar, volunteers and community support are the main reasons for the Food Bank’s success.
