Absentee Ballots Being Mailed Out by El Dorado County Today

Superior Court Judge for Office 1 - Vicki Ashworth, David Combellack or Joe Weinberger
Superior Court Judge for Office 5 - Joseph Hoffman or Dylan Sullivan
Supervisor for the 5th District - Kevin Brown, Kenny Curtwiler, Gerri Grego, Sue Novasel, Teresa Piper or Angela Swanson
Auditor Controller - Joe Harn or Michael Owen
District Attorney - Vern Pierson
Sheriff - John D'Agostini
Recorder Clerk - Chris Amaral or William Schulz
Treasure/Tax Collector - Ron Briggs or C.L. Raffety
Measure L - extending the library tax (current tax of $18/house expires in June, proposal is one time fee of $20/year starting in July)
Sample ballots for the June 3 primary elections in California were mailed out April 25th, and absentee/mail in ballots are being mailed out Monday and Tuesday, May 5 and 6.
According to the mailed ballots, South Lake Tahoe county voters have the following choices in June:
U.S. Representative for the 4th District - Tom McClintock or Art Moore
Superior Court Judge for Office 1 - Vicki Ashworth, David Combellack or Joe Weinberger
Superior Court Judge for Office 5 - Joseph Hoffman or Dylan Sullivan
Supervisor for the 5th District - Kevin Brown, Kenny Curtwiler, Gerri Grego, Sue Novasel, Teresa Piper or Angela Swanson

How to vote by mail
Any voter can submit a single request to automatically receive their ballot by mail every election. Voters may also request to vote by mail for a single election. The deadline to request a vote by mail ballot for the June 3 Statewide Direct Primary Election is May 27. A vote by mail ballot application is provided with each Sample Ballot mailed to voters.

If you aren't registered to vote in El Dorado County you have until May 19th to register and be able to vote in the primaries. Have a say in your future. You may register on line.
