Brad D. Wlcek, of Lafayette, Calif., died Wednesday, May 18, 216. He was 27.
He was born on Feb. 7, 1989, in Derry, N.H. The family moved to Ridgefield where he spent his primary school years. In 2000, the family moved to Danville, Calif., where he completed his education graduating from San Ramon Valley High School class of 2007. Following graduation he attended the California State University, San Francisco.
He is survived by his parents, Eunice Balthaser Wlcek of Lafayette, and John Wlcek of South Lake Tahoe, Calif., an older brother, Brian T. Wlcek of South Lake Tahoe; grandparents Eiko and Charles (Ken) Balthaser of Placerville, Calif.; uncles Kenneth Balthaser of Sacramento, Neil Balthaser and Marcus Davis of Montreal, Canada; an aunt, April Balthaser of Danville; cousins Brittany Balthaser of Sacramento, Brooke and Brandon Balthaser of Danville; Hana Balthaser-Davis of Montreal; an aunt Barbara (Wlcek) Cowperthwaite and an uncle Jay Cowperthwaite of Milford; an aunt Nancy Wlcek of Stratford; cousins Beth (Cowperthwaite) Brown of Stratford, Amy (Cowperthwaite) Tweedie of Stratford, Matthew Chirico, Christopher Carey and Zane Carey of Stratford.
