A motorcyclist who was injured trying to elude officers during a 100 mph chase in March was sentenced to six months in jail on Wednesday.
Peter Thomas Hall, 50, of South Lake Tahoe, appeared in custody before East Fork Justice of the Peace Tom Perkins.
Hall was clocked doing 70 mph on Mottsville Lane on March 31. When a deputy tried to pull him over, he accelerated and passed other motorists on the double yellow line. Hall crisscrossed the Valley on 88, then Centerville and Foothill, and then back down Fairview, reaching speeds of 100 mph before he turned down Dressler Lane where he wiped out.
“I was riding my motorcycle really fast and didn’t stop for officers,” he said.
He admitted to reckless driving and obstructing or eluding police officers.
