A Douglas County man is facing multiple charges after allegedly holding up the Carson County Market Friday night.
On June 1 at around 11:00 p.m., the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office (DCSO) responded to the store which is located on Mica Drive. The store clerk reported a male adult wearing a mask brandished a handgun and then fled on foot after an unknown amount of cash was handed over to the suspect.
After a review of surveillance at the market, investigators were able to identify a 14-year-old male who was inside the store at the time of the robbery. Through further investigation they discovered that the teen was a look-out for the suspect and he was subsequently identified.
DCSO later arrested the suspect, 36-year-old James Tabor of Northern Douglas County. He was charged with Robbery, Child Endangerment and being an Ex-Felon in possession of a Firearm. He is being held on $100,000 bail.
The juvenile was released to a guardian.
All cash and evidence were recovered.
