Cameron Park teen still missing after hiking near Cosumnes River

The 15-year-old from Cameron Park who went missing while with family members on May 29 has yet to be found, even though El Dorado County search and rescue teams have not given up looking for him.
Joshua Joo, a atudent at Ponderosa High School, became separated from his group in the Bucks Bar area near the North Fork of the Cosumnes River, in what is known as the Cosumnes River Gorge.
Joo is and activer member of the school's Alpine Ski Team and Future Farmers of America (FFA).
Since the day Joshua went missing, there has been an extensive and ongoing search effort to locate him.
"This search effort will not stop until we locate Joshua," said El Dorado County Sheriff Lt. Jim Byers. "The Joo family would like to thank the community for the incredible support and for respecting their wishes for privacy during this difficult time."
