Residents asked to complete survey concerning Charter and KCRA

Even with government and public pleas to keep Sacramento NBC affiliate KCRA on the South Lake Tahoe Charter Spectrum lineup, the channel was cut on June 8. The fight to get the California station back has not stopped and El Dorado County is now surveying residents.
Charter tried to cut kCRA in 2008, but didn't follow through due to the number of complaints they received. The complaints via phone calls and emails did not work this time. Charter said the local Designated Market Area (DMA) for Lake Tahoe is Reno and not Sacramento and they were not required to show a channel out of the local DMA.
The survey for Charter's service can be found here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/T9W5MYQ
The County will keep it open until July 9.
