Soroptimist International of Tahoe Sierra (SITS) recently installed President Lydia Rogers and her slate of Officers and Directors for 2015/16.
Each year, the President of the club selects a theme for her term. Lydia has selected “We are our Sisters’ Keeper” as her theme. How appropriate given that the Club’s mission is to “Strengthen and enhance the lives of women and youth in our community and the world.”
Members of the service club stay involved throughout the year and support many worthy non-profit organizations, projects, and programs as well as providing numerous Scholarships and Awards. The club meets each Thursday at 7:30 am at the Senior Center.
