First round of tournament play at Tahoe Celebrity Golf on Friday

Even though the celebrity golfers in South Lake Tahoe have had practice rounds and celebrity-amateur tournaments over the last few days, Friday marks the official first day of the 25th Annual American Century Championship.
The 29 groups of players will start off from the first tee and tenth tee starting at 9:10 a.m. They will alternate tees until the last group tees off at 11:30 a.m.
The three players who spoke to Tahoe Douglas and South Lake Tahoe Rotary clubs on Thursday will be playing together on Friday. Their group leaves the 10th tee at 10:45 a.m.
