Josh Scobee has lead at American Century Golf Championship

Veteran NFL placekicker Josh Scobee has the lead in the American Century Golf Championship in South Lake Tahoe. Scobee, of the Jacksonville Jaguars, has 57 points with the tournament's Modified Stableford scoring.

Round 1 leader Mark Mulder, former Oakland Athletics pitcher, is five points behind with a 52.

“It was a fantastic round," said Scobee. "I just tried to stay focused and take each shot as an individual shot. Being a kicker, it is kind of like kicking a football. You have to take each thing individually and focus on that one thing and not try to get anything clogged in your head and play your game.”

Here is a list of the top 10 leading into Sunday's final round at Edgewood Tahoe.

1 Scobee, Josh 57
