SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - Since 1978 Lake Tahoe Wildlife Care (LTWC) has been serving the community with a facility inside the home of founders, Tom and Cheryl Millham. Their long history of rescuing, rehabilitating and releasing Tahoe’s injured and orphaned wildlife has gained national attention. To expand the organization’s ability to educate local residents and area visitors and increase wildlife stewardship, Tahoe Fund is helping LTWC to complete their new Outdoor Learning Center on its spectacular new 27-acre property in South Lake Tahoe.
The facility will offer daily programming during the summer months to teach people how to co-exist with wildlife and keep them wild. LTWC will also continue to rehabilitate animals as they have always done throughout their new property.
Help make this project a reality. All donations up to $15,000 will be matched by Tahoe Blue Vodka to give your contribution even more impact.
