To become more of a warm welcome to South Lake Tahoe, the lobby at the Lake Tahoe Airport is undergoing renovations that will include a gas fireplace, a lounge with new seating, new flooring and offices.
As an entrance to what is used as City Hall in South Lake Tahoe, the City Council voted to spend $627,371 on upgrades to walls, doors, HVAC, plumbing, and ceiling tile and grid. The contractor will replace aging mechanical, electrical, lighting within the administrative Center. Provide ADA upgrades at service window and entrances, provide visual and aesthetic improvements, and provide visitor information space.
Access to the reopened Flight Deck restaurants and all City offices is still available.
The project is slated to be completed in mid-October.
