South Lake Tahoe forecast: Sunny, warm and light winds

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - The week ahead looks rather quiet with seasonable mid-summer temperatures and gusty afternoon winds. The winds do not look overly strong with typical gusts around 25 mph. There will be a couple of weak short waves that will move through during the week that could enhance the winds, one Monday and one Thursday. Still, they are so weak, it may not be discernible with regards to sensible weather.
The forecast from the National Weather Service in Reno:
Monday - Sunny, with a high near 84. Southwest wind 5 to 10 mph increasing to 10 to 15 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 25 mph.
Monday Night - Mostly clear, with a low around 45. Southwest wind 10 to 15 mph decreasing to 5 to 10 mph after midnight.
Tuesday - Sunny, with a high near 82. Southwest wind 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.
Tuesday Night- Mostly clear, with a low around 43. Southwest wind 5 to 15 mph.
Wednesday - Sunny, with a high near 81.
Wednesday Night - Mostly clear, with a low around 43.
Thursday - Sunny, with a high near 81.
Thursday Night - Mostly clear, with a low around 43.
Friday - Sunny, with a high near 82.
Friday Night - Clear, with a low around 44.
Saturday - Sunny, with a high near 86.
Saturday Night - Mostly clear, with a low around 47.
Sunday - Sunny, with a high near 88.
