The Tahoe Rim Trail Association is holding their biggest trail project of the year and are looking for volunteers to lend a hand. They will be rerouting the trail near Mott Canyon off the dusty, steep access road.
Once finished, the trail will be a beautiful single-track trail with expansive views of the Carson Valley.
Workdays will be taking place all month long most Tuesdays and Saturday: Sign up HERE.
The Tahoe Rim Trail is a 165-mile trail around the rim of Lake Tahoe, with the lowest point being Tahoe City at 6,240 ft and highest Relay Peak at 10,338 ft. Volunteers created the trail in 1981.
