Event Date:
August 29, 2012 - 12:00pm
The Tahoe Regional Planning Agency will host its first-ever webinar Aug. 29 on the Lake Tahoe Regional Plan Update in order to reach people that have not yet had an opportunity to engage on the issues. The webinar runs from noon to 1 p.m., is free and open to the public.
“Our goal is to reach out to people who would like to know more about the Regional Plan Update and how it might affect them but have not yet had time to engage,” said Jeff Cowen, TRPA Communications Specialist, in a news release. “There seems to be a lot of interest in joining the webinar from Tahoe property owners living both in and outside the Basin,” he said.
People interested in signing up for TRPA’s free webinar can email kboosman@trpa.org with their email and primary address, and they will receive instruction for accessing the live event. The webinar will also be posted on TRPA’s website for viewing later.
The Tahoe Regional Planning Agency cooperatively leads the effort to preserve, restore, and enhance the unique natural and human environment of the Lake Tahoe Region now and in the future. For additional information, call Kristi Boosman at (775) 589-5230 or send an email to kboosman@trpa.org.
