Temps around Lake Tahoe above average, close to records next week

A strong high pressure system over the Sierra and Great Basin will bring dry weather and warm temperatures through the middle of next week. While Reno may be breaking records, Lake Tahoe is expected to be just under theirs though well above average.

The system is expected to weaken before the Labor Day weekend.
