SLEDNET investigation lands seven in jail on drug charges

Drug task force agents investigating the alleged sales and use of illegal narcotics in the South Lake Tahoe city limits arrested seven adults and confiscated drugs and paraphernalia.
Agents from the South Lake El Dorado Narcotic Enforcement Task Team (SLEDNET) served a search warrant at a home located in the 800 block of Tallac Road on Monday, August 24, 2015 at 3:00 p.m.
Inside the home, they found 11 adults, seven of them who claimed to reside at the location.
Suspected Methamphetamines and heroin were located throughout the residence. Also located were packaging and scales, items consistent with the sales of illegal narcotics.
Spoons commonly used to reduce heroin into a liquid form by heating them, small cotton pieces commonly used to filter drugs before injection and hypodermic needles and syringes were found. Glass pipes commonly used to smoke methamphetamine were also recovered.
The adults arrested:
Richard Martin – Maintain residence for sale of narcotics, Possession of narcotics paraphernalia.
Joshua Martin, 23 – Possession of a controlled substance, Maintain residence for sale of narcotics, Possession of narcotics paraphernalia, Violation of probation. He remains in El Dorado County Jail with a $49,500 bail hold.
Marty Beaman – Possession of methamphetamines with intent to sale, Possession of heroin with intent to sale, Maintain residence for sale of narcotics, Possession of narcotics paraphernalia. He remains in El Dorado County Jail with a $217,000 bail hold.
Shawn McGrath – Maintain residence for sale of narcotics, Possession of false compartment to conceal narcotics, Possession of heroin with intent to sale, Possession of narcotics paraphernalia.
Gabrielle Cooley – Possession of heroin with intent to sale, Possession of methamphetamines with intent to sale, Maintain residence for sale of narcotics, Possession of narcotics paraphernalia. She remains in El Dorado County Jail with a $77,000 bail hold.
Rachel Neill – Maintain residence for sale of narcotics, Possession of false compartment to conceal narcotics, Possession of heroin with intent to sale, Possession of narcotics paraphernalia.
Angela Zimmerman – Loiter for the purpose of narcotics activity.
