Wild & Free – an evening event to support Lake Tahoe Wildlife Care

The excitement is building for Lake Tahoe Wildlife Care’s upcoming transition as our location, look and procedures all expand. To help them finish up the project they area holding a special evening of food, fun and information in support of LTWC’s future operations and success.

Join them at Wild & Free - An Evening Fundraiser on Tuesday, October 29, 2019, at 6:00 p.m. at Valhalla Tahoe. Enjoy a great meal to help a wonderful cause. All funds raised will go directly to LTWC operations and their animal rehabilitation efforts.

The meal will be catered by The Lake House Restaurant.

1st course: Passed Appetizers

2nd course choice of:
– Lobster Chowder
– Mixed Green Salad (organic greens/apples/red onion/radish/candied walnuts/balsamic vinaigrette)
– Caesar Salad (romaine hearts/garlic/anchovy/lemon/parmesan/herb croutons)

3rd course choice of:
– Mint-crusted Tofu (vegan-ragu of fingerling potatoes/artichoke hearts/garlic/tomato)
– Chilean Sea Bass (pan roasted in clarified butter/ragu of fingerling potatoes/artichoke hearts/garlic/tomato/served with a lemon caper beurre blanc)
– Beef Shortrib (slow cooked and fork tender braised shortrib/yukon gold mashed potatoes/seasonal vegetables)
– Stuffed Chicken Breast (free range/parmesan/spinach/garlic/sauce suprême/yukon gold mashed potatoes/seasonal vegetables)

4th course: Passed Desserts

Proceeds from this event will help support LTWC in their mission to raise, rehabilitate and release wildlife in need. Over the past 41 years, Lake Tahoe Wildlife Care has successfully released over 18,000 birds and animals to their native habitats. We work every day, all year to ensure orphaned and injured animals can live “Wild & Free.”
