South Lake Tahoe police and fire were called at about 2:30 this afternoon to Raley's at the"Y" after a report of a woman not breathing inside a car with two small children inside. First responders at the scene reported via police scanner dispatch that a second ambulance was needed for the children, reportedly an 18-month-old and a 3-year old. The children appear OK. About a block away, a fight involving several subjects was also reported. Initial police scanner reports came in that there was a window that was broken.
Traffic at the 'Y' was heavy as police, fire and rescue make their way to the scenes. Meanwhile at about 2:56 p.m. police and rescue were called in the same location for a person who contacted authorities about a separate incident, possibly a domestic dispute. Police were asked to respond.
