Zephyr Cove Elementary picks student council

Zephyr Cove Elementary School Student Council Elections were on Sept. 28, 2011. This year had the largest number of nominees to run for positions on the council. The ZCES Student Council consists of 8 positions: 6th Graders can run for President or Vice President, 5th for Secretary or Treasurer, 4th for Historian or Artist and 3rd Graders can run for two positions as Representative. All nominees are required to write an essay in order to be eligible to run and must offer a speech to the student body. Students in grades 2-6 vote for their favorites.
