Missing Gardnerville boy found safe, hiding under bed

Douglas County authorities confirmed the missing boy has been found safe, according to the Record-Courier. Authorities were looking for the boy this morning when he didn't show up to school.

Deputies and detectives of the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office are currently searching for a missing 11-year-old Gardnerville boy. Erik Centeno, who resides in the 1300 block of Toler Lane with his parents and older brother, went missing early Monday morning.
Erik Centeno was last seen at home by his father around 7:45 am, however Erik never reported to school at nearby Gardnerville Elementary School.
Erik is described as a male Hispanic, approximately 4 feet tall, thin build, with brown eyes and short-cut dark brown hair. Erik is reported to be wearing denim pants and a dark colored long-sleeve sweatshirt.
Anyone who has seen Erik Centeno or has information regarding his whereabouts is asked to call the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office Dispatch Center at 775-782-5126.
