Elks Club Drive to close for one day for repairs

Elks Club Drive near US 50 will close for one day, Monday, October 15, for roadwork.
The El Dorado County’s Department of Transportation today announced crews will be
grinding three inches of existing pavement, overlay three inches of hot mix asphalt, striping and pavement markings.
Elks Club Drive, between the US 50 intersection to Tam O Shanter Drive will be closed. Access for local residents and visitors, as well as emergency personnel and law enforcement will be via detour to Meadowvale Drive and Tam O Shanter Drive. Appropriate signage will be installed to assist with the detour.
Motorists are also advised to allow extra time when traveling through the detour in order to arrive at their destinations on time.
The County said they sincerely appreciate the cooperation and patience of motorists that use these roadways and apologize for any inconvenience as a result of this road closure.
