Reward offered to find person of interest in South Shore murder

STATELINE, Nev. - A person of interest is being sought in the October 3, 2017 homicide at the Hard Rock Casino Hotel.

The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office (DCSO) is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the person associated with a homicide that was reported on at 5:00 .a.m. that evening.

Kevin LeRoy Edwards of Dublin, Calif. and Reno, Nev. was 56-years-old at the time of his murder.

Edwards' car, a 2001 silver BMW 4-door sedan. was taken from the parking lot at the Hard Rock and later found abandoned in Wadsworth, Nev. on October 6.

DCSO is looking for the person of interest in these photos. They were seen with the victim prior to the homicide.

A reward is being offered to anyone with information leading to the arrest and/or conviction of the suspect. Your identity is not needed and you will remain anonymous.
