Update: El Dorado County has announced that this meeting is postponed "due to unforeseen circumstances" and will be held on a later date TBD.
EL DORADO COUNTY, Calif. - There will be the second of three Town Hall meetings held by El Dorado County Supervisor Sue Novasel on Wednesday, October 23 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
The meeting is open to the public and will be held at the Meeks Bay Fire Station, 8041 Emerald Bay Road, Meeks Bay.
The focus of the meeting will be a discussion of Vacation Home Rentals and the Alternate Governance Model. Alternate Governance is defined as "dual governance because it consists in the differentiated intersection of two basic decision-making models managing different policy regimes, an intersection that defines distinct spaces for political action and provides alternative modalities of legitimacy."
Novasel's district reaches from Tahoma and South Lake Tahoe to Pollock Pines.
The next town hall date and location have not been set but it is expected before the end of the year.
