Peter McDonough won the 2016 Word Wave One-Act Play Competition with "Joint Chiefs" and he has now expanded it into a full-length stage production that will be featured at the Lake Tahoe Community College's Duke Theatre over two weekends in November.
Joint Chiefs is the funny, heart-felt story of four veterans, one from each branch of service, who meet regularly at the "The Joint," a local diner owned by one of their own, Mike Riggio, a former Navy cook. Everyday, they tell stories, share jokes, and give each other grief, until one day Mike seems to be acting strangely. The other three suspect he might have to sell "The Joint."
This will be a Valhalla Tahoe production November 9-12 and 16-19 at 7:30 p.m.
The college is located at One College Drive in South Lake Tahoe, Calif.
