Happy Thanksgiving. You've no doubt heard or read these words a few times already today.
Thank you readers. You've made this year so special for me. When I started in July of 2013 I wasn't sure what was going to happen. Will people read what I spend hours on? Will they find it useful, helpful or thought provoking? Will they even find SouthTahoeNow.com? I appreciate each and every one of you and look forward to even bigger things in the next year.
Thank you advertisers. Even though I don't have many yet, I am very thankful for the supporters that are behind bringing SouthTahoeNow.com to the readers. Some have been with us since the very beginning, which was a huge step for them. Please support them as they are doing more than just advertising, they are keeping us going.
Thank you City and County employees. You answer my questions quickly and accurately. You provide valuable information that can be shared with the public.
Thank you Facebook and Twitter fans. I appreciate the relationships we've developed. I smile when you share a story or comment, it means a lot to me that you've found something worthy of your time.
Thank you concerned and involved readers and citizens who want to know something, and reach out to me with news and information or questions. I can't be everywhere, so my extra "eyes and ears" are appreciated.
Thank you community. I have lived here for over 35 years and enjoy the people that make up our neighborhoods, city, counties and region. Some are here for only a weekend while others a lifetime, but everyone is part of the community in one way or another. There are a lot of great people here.
Thank you Kirk Caraway and Jeff Munson for all of your support from the news, technical and ethical side. You created a great tool for the South Lake Tahoe locals, neighbors and visitors and I am honored to be a part of this.
Have a Happy Thanksgiving!
