Two new deputies for the Douglas County Sheriff's Office

Sheriff Ron Pierini swore in two new deputies during a ceremony on December 11, 2017. Deputies Stephen Graves and Eric Jenkins took their oaths of office in the presence of family and friends, along with several employees of the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office.
Eric Jenkins was born, raised in Douglas County and graduated from Douglas High School in 2014. He has completed some coursework at the University of Nevada, Reno and will finish his degree in the future. Deputy Jenkins recently worked in automotive sales and just earned his black belt in Tae Kwon Do. He said his position as a deputy sheriff is a lifelong dream and will work diligently for the public.
Stephen Graves grew up in Norco, California and relocated to the Carson Valley several years ago, and has been employed in the lumber supply and heavy equipment industries. Stephen Graves currently raises horses and said he is very excited to be working in Douglas County serving the community.
